Where We Stay is an exhibition that explores the commonalities in where we call home within Black communities. Celebrating James and Daisy Sistrunk and the Sistrunk neighborhood, the similarities are woven throughout the streets, the dwellings, and the people who shape these spaces. Featuring Allison Bolah, Adrienne Chadwick, Amaya Estrada, Clarence Josey II, Emmanuel George, Shawna Moulton, Cornelius Tulloch, and Carrington Ware, this exhibition honors home, the resiliency of Historic Black neighborhoods, Black culture, and family, as sites of care and community.
